That day, we had planned to hike in the Swiss Plateau, near Bern. As it was a cross-country hike, we took the train to the starting point. Unfortunately, when we arrived in Neuchâtel, we found out that the train would not continue. We were a bit disappointed, we wondered whether we should go home or do another hike. We decided to follow the shore of the Lake of Neuchâtel, which we call the “Bordu”.
So, from the train station, we went down to follow the rue du Seyon and arrived at Place Pury. From there, we followed the lake shore, passing the Rives de Serrières and the Plage d’Auvernier. At Robinson, we turned back to follow the Allée Bourbaki and took the bus to go home.
