Among the spectacular places in the area around Adelboden, the Entschligen Falls are worth mentioning. Indeed, the water of the Entschlige cascades over a drop of more than 400m, while falling over several ledges. The last one, which you can approach along a comfortable path, is certainly the most beautiful.
To get there, we followed the marked trail that, from the bottom of Adelboden, follows Entschlige to reach Unter dem Birg, the starting station of the cable car to the Engstligenalp. The trail is pleasant, especially compared to the memories I have from the late 70s, when we had to follow the tarmac roads.
For the return, we followed the same path up to Bir Müli, where we followed the small road that leads to the center of the village in the most direct way. This also allows you to pass by the Adelboden mineral water source. Unfortunately, the tap was closed, as we were out of the tourist season.
